Rvrwader's International Fly Swap 2000 | Swapmeister: Tony Mince Start: June 2000 |
Tony Mince from Flint in Michigan announced this swap in June 2000. I saw the announcement on fly-swap-central. His general intention was to organize a ".... swap with a long tying deadline so more international tyers can join." The swap was limited to 12 tyers and filled up rally quickly. After all we came out with a group of 17 tyers, 10 from the US, 2 from Canada, 4 from Europe (including Russia) and one tyer from down under (Australia). Due to the group it was an exciting experience to ty. I selected a nymph for the swap that was originated - as far as I know - in southern Germany or Austria. |
