Winter Nymph Tying Expo 2000

In December 2000 Clay Landry from Bozeman,MT had a great idea: He announced a swap at Fly Swap Central. He selected 'Winter Nymph Tying Expo' as name for this event. He wrote: "Winter is a great time to replenish fly boxes, but it's also a great time for nymph fishing." Well, I read this, agreed and joined the swap.

I myself had a nice time to ty my flies during the christmas time. I selected a real local nymph, I call this little bug my 'Erft Nymph'. The Erft is the little river I fish regular´. This little bugger is very successfull there.

When I got the swap back I was really impressed, the flies were really great and Clay send a lot of information with them.
