Thread: brown
Tail: Black oistrich herl, tip
Wing case: Pheasant fibers, dark
Thorax and weight: copper wire
Legs: Guinea, tied soft hackle, clipped

Tying instruction:

Secure hook in vise and catch thread at the eye of the hook. Wrap thread to bend. Ty in copper wire and oistrich her, tips pointing to the bend. Form a rope with the herl and wind it half shank. Secure. Spiral the wire forwoard to form the rib. Trimm the oistrich, not the wire. Ty in the grey feather segment. Form the thorax with the copper. Secure and trimm the excess. Form the wingcase. After that ty in and wrap the guinea feather. Form a small head and whip finish. Now pull the guinea herls over the hooks eye and cut them short to form the legs.
