	Receipe Hook Mustad 94840, 94859, or equivalent. (20 - 22) Thread: Black 6/0 ( Tim prefers 8/0 Uni ) Body: Black hackle ( wound in connecting spirals over shank and trimmed top and bottom) Wing: One small jungle cock nail feather ( extending slightly past bend of hook )
Remarks: Although the original calls for black, I have seen Jassids tied with ginger or honey dun hackle. I find that grizzly hackle also gives a nice effect. I have also seen this pattern tied as large as size 14 and as small as size 26. When fish refuse large offerings, the smaller versions will usually coax them into a strike.	More terrestrials?
