Hook: Curved caddis nymph hook
Thread: black 6/0
Post: White calf tail
Hackle: Rusty dun
Abdomen: Uni-Flexx, red
Thorax: Peacock herl
Tying instructions:

Catch thread at hook's eye and wind a foundation half shank. Advance thread a bit to the eye and ty in the calf tail hairs. Build a nice post and ty in the hackle at the post. Taper down the hairs but and secure them tight. With the thread form a slim but tapered abdomen. Advance thread to the bend of the hook. Ty in the Uni-Flexx, advance thread to shortly behind the post. Wrap the abdomen with the Flexx. Ty in the peacock herl and from the thorax. Wind the hackle horizontally, secure, ty off, form a small head and cement.
