Zebra Crystal Midge Tying instructions:

  1. smash barb
  2. put the little clear bead on
  3. tie on with your thread
  4. tie on the silver wire rib, covering it with the tying thread back over the bend of the hook
  5. wrap the tying thread back to the front of the fly, going back and forth a couple or three times to make a slight tapering body
  6. wind the rib forward to behind the bead and tie off
  7. tie in about 3-5 strands of pearl krystal flash, longest being about half shank length, the rest shorter. I try to have no two the same length...
  8. Whip finish behind the bead, and isn't that a good lookin' little fly!:-)
