Trout Necessity 2001 | Swapmeister: Doug Hollowell Start:July 2001 |
Doug Hollowell from Olive Branch, Mississippi, asked in July 2001 for a very specific kind of flies: "...the basic must have flies that have become a necessity in the world of trout fishing." He was interested not only in old stand by's like "..Hares Ear, Pheasant Tail, Elk Hair Caddis...." but also for "..own creations that has become a necessity in their fly boxes..". I decided to tie an old standby - the light cahill. This pattern was designed Dan Cahill and imitates a variety of light-colored insects. And I recived a variety of different flies, dries, nymphs and a streamer. And here are all little bugs: |
